About Me

I live and work in Ireland, and most of my inspiration is taken from the Irish landscape, with its beautiful scenery, wide rolling hills, dramatic skies and dynamic coastline.

I qualified with a B.A. Hons degree in Fine Art, Sculpture in 1989 and exhibited my work both here in Ireland and in the U.K.
I have always been fascinated in the use of photography, especially artists like Man Ray and the Dadaists , Henry Bresson Cartier, and other Magnum photographers and the unique way in which they saw the world around them. ..................
In 1998 I was no longer able to make sculpture due to ill health and I switched to adding computer software to my 2 dimensional work, by using scanned images, found objects,as well as my drawings, paintings and photographs to make a single image.
